Desktop Chat

Desktop Chat is an application developed in Java 6 by my students Rahul Arora, Sunny Gupta, and Aman Gupta of DIET, Karnal, as part of their Training in 5^th semester of their B.Tech. (CSE) courses.

Desktop Chat is actually a group of 3 Java jar files, a Core Jar file to enable Network communication, a Server Jar file to present the server to which all clients connect for communication, and a Client Jar file which presents to Client UI for chatting.

The server is completely transparent to the clients. A single Chat Room is supported to which all currently logged-in users are automatically listed, and hence can see and chat with each other.
