Flash Falling Money Animation
I recently prepared a long Flash movie for one of my Client websites. The movie had the animation of Falling Currency Notes in between it.
I thought I should share the Falling Money part of it on my website. So, the .fla & .swf files for the Falling Money animation are attached with this post. You can download them below.
Features:
- Fills up the entire stage area automatically
- Easily configurable falling speed
- Mutltiple Currency Notes can be made to fall together
- Moreover, you can easily substitute curencty notes in the library.
- Can be easily adapted to make almost anything fall
You can see a preview of it below. Try setting the Speed to 50, and then 1.
I think the credit should go to where it is due. I borrowed the original idea for implementing this animation from the Falling Numbers animation I saw at: FlashMatics

Hello,
I was just looking at your fla file and noticed that when i remove the buttons and other items that the swf will not work when produced. Is there a i can remove those buttons and other items as i am trying to work on my coding. I have not worked with actionscript before but i am trying to learn.
E
Hi Eric, it should not have been difficult to remove the items in the fla file. It just involved deleting the layer those items were on (Layer 2), and removing their references from the Action script. That's all.
In any case, I have done so. Please find attached the .fla file with those items removed.
Hey Rahul - I was unable to open the fla. Wondering if its to do with the version. It says unexpected file format. I have Flash CS3. Would it be possible to have it in a lower version. Would be great if it works! Thanks!!
Hi, Please try the attached .fla file. It's in Flash CS3.
Thanks man!
excellent dude..thanks for sharing
hey rahul thanks for attaching the fla file can you tell me how to add an image in the background of this file whenever i put a file whether its layer is above or not the bg comes only on front and money falling is from backside
Please help
Hi Piyush, I am short on time to try this, but you should be able to accomplish this by adding a new layer with the lowest z-index. Maybe you would need to tweak the Actionscript a bit to make the mney fall in front of your new layer.
It has been so much time that I posted this, that I can't recall the exact actionscript code, and am utterly short on time to give it a try.
hi I was unable to open the fla.pls help me
If I recall correctly, I used CS4. You would need CS4 or a later version to open it.
